Job Description:

Working at Site as a field QA/QC supervisor responsible for documentation like erection, History Sheet/Inspection records / As built records / NDT records, coming out NDT tests at site, monitoring welding quality. Must have CSWIP/AWS and ASNT level-II

Salary: Rs. 8 to 10 Lacs per annum (CTC)
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: UG - B.Tech/B.E., Diploma - Mechanical / Metallurgy

Job Description:
•The applicant should have good knowledge in practical examination of Ultrasonic Testing, MPI and DPT. Experience in UT, PT and MPI.
•Check the fit-up of joint for proper alignment as per drawing & checking conformance to requirement of the welding procedure
•Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure that the Quality of job is accordance with the Customer, Surveyors and company quality requirements.Verifying of the controlling of welding consumables and documents
•Witnessing of the Hydro test, Pneumatic testing, vacuum testing, and kerosene test.
Carrying out weld audit.
•Carry out visual inspection of weldments during fabrication, shut down, witness hydro test, pneumatic test, welder qualification test, procedure qualification test.
Performing N.D.T. On Welds, Shafts & Propeller Blades etc.
•Carry out Q.C. Inspection and Dimensional Control inspection.
Reviewing of Nonconforming items and establishing the corrective measures
Review of the final reports
•Maintaining ISO Documentation (ISO 9002-2000).
•Attending weekly QA/QC meeting etc.,
•Familiar with international standards such as AWS, API, ASME, ASNT, ASTM etc.
•Carried out weld repairs by making tracings and locating of the defects on the weld.
•Final inspection for release. Resolution of NCR
•Preferred candidate: From Turbine manufacturing or Heavy Engineering Companies.
